Race Equality Network
The Race Equality Network was formally launched on Thursday 29th October 2009 at Wadham College. Dr David Mills, from the Department of Education delivered a presentation on "Learning differently, teaching inclusively". The keynote speech was delivered by Karen Chouhan, Director of Equanomics and one of the Joseph Rowntree visionaries.

The aims of the network are:

* To provide an opportunity to network and socialise

* To promote understanding between people of all races and cultures

* To provide a discussion forum for cultural issues/matters

* To support each other and share ideas both face-to-face and online
