St Hugh's College

Image
St Hugh's College
St Hugh’s was born from a determination to make the delight of learning available to all and has a character and tradition all its own. Set in extensive and beautiful gardens, St Hugh’s is a community that seeks to combine friendliness and informality with an absolute commitment to the life of the mind. Excellence in teaching and research is our central objective. We now have over four hundred undergraduates and two hundred graduates, working alongside our fifty fellows and twenty lecturers, junior research fellows and career development fellows. All of our undergraduates are able to live on site throughout their time with us, and nearly half of our graduates also live in College, which makes a genuine sense of academic and social community a reality here.
